Breakfast is a winning strategy for kids’ health and academic success. Yet many schools in California have yet to take full advantage of this program. More than 1,400 don’t offer breakfast and thousands have low participation—in part because they don’t serve breakfast in a student-friendly way. There are also Champions of Breakfast throughout California—parents, students, teachers, community leaders, health care providers and others who have taken a bold step to put breakfast first. Their work can inspire us all! Click below to learn more about breakfast needs and leaders in your community.
